What do you think about purchasing a refurbished iPod from Apple website WITH 2 year protection plan? Good idea or bad idea? Why or why not?

Yes, if its from Apple you get Apple’s Warranty on the Ipod, much better than buying it from some other store/location. Who better to trust with a used item/warranty than the makers themselves, and Apples pretty big on their name and their customers..

The only thing with refurbished is although it’s a good deal, there is no guarantee how long it will work for. Once that 2 years is up you’re on your own. Keep in mind as well that a lot of your music (if you have other files) cannot be uploaded onto Itunes, because it only allows certain songs. I’m sure you can find another MP3 player at a local Best Buy/Circuit City, and possibly for cheaper. Make sure you do your research before you buy anything.

there are places you can find new ipods for prices as low as the refurbished ones. I got mine from BuyatDiscounts.com and its been working great for me 2 years running. I’m thinking about upgradeing and I’m going to buy from them again once I sell this one on eBay. Here is the link if you wanna check it out. Email me with question if you want. Enjoy your new ipod!
